Iron Man, aka Tony Stark is a Marvel Comics character that debuted in the Tales of Suspense Comic #39 in March 1963 and became one of the most popular comic characters worldwide. Iron Man made his video game debut relatively late and was playable for the first time in Captain America and the Avengers, an Arcade beat’em up in 1991. The first Iron Man game with him as the main protagonist was Iron Man / X-O Manowar in Heavy Metal (1996) he was also playable in a couple of other Marvel Comic adaptions before. Until today there are over 25 video games that are featuring Iron Man, some of the latest ones are Marvel Heroes and Marvel: Future Fight. Iron Man is also an unlockable Skateboarder in Tony Hawk’s Underground (2003) |
