Jinpachi Mishima from Tekken in the GA-HQ Video Game Character DB
Jinpachi Mishima is the unplayable main antagonist and final boss in Tekken 5 (2004). He was playable for the first time in Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection on the Playstation 3 in 2006 and returned with a bigger moveset in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (2011) and Tekken Revolution (2013). Jinpachi is the father of Heihachi Mishima who took the Mishima Zaibatsu from him and arrested him below the Hon-Maru building where he died days later of starvation. His body became possessed by a spirit that was never explained and might be demonic. When the Hon-Maru exploded after an army of Jack’s attacked, he was freed. Still being not completely possessed yet, Jinpachi took over the Mishima Zaibatsu and organized the Iron Fist Tournament 5 in the hope that one of the challengers could defeat him. His later appearances are not canon. |
