Rattata used Sunny Day by Sony-Shock

Sony-Shock from Spain draws a lot of cute stuff and joined our Pokémon Project back in May already, he liked the idea a lot and instead of just one, he drew four very different ones in the end. I

recommend to visit his gallery on dA where you can see a lot more fan art but also completely original creations from him. I look forward to see S-S returning for Gen II next year!

Makes the weather sunny for five turns. When sunny, Fire-type moves are more powerful

Sunny Day is a Fire-Type move that debuted in the Gen II games and is not directly damaging the opponents but buff’s up Fire Type Moves while it decreases the Power of Water-Type moves. Its super effective against the right opponents.

The Sunny Day effect lasts for five rounds and can change the outcome of a battle easy if used wisely. Sunny Day is not available to Rattata in the most games and is one of the moves that can taught to it via a Technical Machine.

Rattata used Thunder Wave by AzureHowlShilach

“Today was quite an annoying day x-x But glad I finally got home ;w; So I got a message from a person asking me if I wanted
to join this Pokemon Art collaboration and I was like: Why not o3o I needed to relax anyways!”

Indeed, that’s how I approached AzureHowIShilach back in the first May week, short after we started our Pokémon Project. I thought it might be a good idea to invite artists that drew Pokémon recently since they are probably the ones that care the most about the idea behind this Anniversary Tribute that evolved to something bigger now 😉

“A special move that causes paralysis. When paralyzed, the victim has a one-in-four chance of immobility”

The Thunder Wave is a Electric-Type move that deals no damage directly but paralyzes the opponent. It can’t paralyze Electric Type Pokémon though.

Just like the Sunny Day, it is another move that the Rattata does not learn through levelling or tutoring, another Technical Machine needs to be used!

The first Pokémon in the Pokedex that learned this move was Pikachu.

“Bites anything when it attacks. Small and very quick, it is a common sight in many places”

The Rattata is a Normal-type Pokémon that can evolve into Raticate. It is based on Rats and very known for being used in the  F.E.A.R. strategy..if nothing else helps, Rattata might be able to defeat opponents that are a lot stronger through certain moves. It is also known as one of the  Mouse Pokémon.
