#080 Slowbro used Amnesia and Thunder Wave!

Slowbro is the first submission by ThePandemis to a Game-Art-HQ Collaboration. Like so many other artists he joined this community due to our first Pokemon Tribute!

Amnesia is one of the non-damaging Psychic-type moves and raises the special defense stats by two stages.
Slowbro used Thunder Wave by BlazeTBW
BlazeTBW from the USA joined Game-Art-HQ somewhen in 2014 already and participated in multiple of our collaborations, starting with her amazing take on the Reznor boss(es) from Super Mario World as part of our Mario’s Blacklist. She also drew the mighty bosses from Banjo Tooie for our Nintendo 64 Anniversary and joined the Pokemon Tribute with Slowbrow and Machamp.

“A special move that causes paralysis. When paralyzed, the victim has a one-in-four chance of immobility”
The Thunder Wave is a Electric-Type move that deals no damage directly but paralyzes the opponent. It can’t paralyze Electric Type Pokémon though.
Just like the Sunny Day, it is another move that the Rattata does not learn through levelling or tutoring, another Technical Machine needs to be used!
The first Pokémon in the Pokedex that learned this move was Pikachu.
“If its tail is bitten by a Shellder, Slowpoke evolves into Slowbro. The Shellder seems to like its crunchy tail”
While the Slowpoke needs minutes to understand that it was hurt, the Slowbro is not even able to feel pain anymore due to the Poison of the Shellder that is biting its tail. Somehow this also rose its intellect and made it much faster and probably smarter. It is the first Pokemon in the Pokedex with a basically symbiotic relationship with another Pokemon.
Like the Slowpoke, the Slowbro is a dual-type Water/Psychic Pokémon.
