Kasuga from Sengoku Basara in the GA-HQ Video Game Character DB
Kasuga is a playable fictional character from the Sengoku Basara games by Capcom. She appears in all games of the series but is often only playable after beating the game with certain other characters. Kasuga debuted in the first Sengoku Basara (2005) and is unlocked if the player beat it before with Kenshin and Sasuke. In Sengoku Basara 2 (2006) and its update Sengoku Basara 2 Heroes (2007) she is playable from the start though. She appeared as an assist for Kenshin in Sengoku Basara X (2008) a fighting game. Kasuga is unplayable in Sengoku Basara 3 (2009) but returned in its update Sengoku Basara 3 Utage (2011) if the game was beaten before with either Sasuka or Muneshige. Kasuga was again unplayable in Sengoku Basara 4 (2014) but playable from the get-go in the update Sengoku Basara 4: Sumeragi (2015). She can also be unlocked after beating the story mode in Sengoku Basara: Yukimura-den (2016). Kasuga is one of the couple completely fictional characters in the Sengoku Basara series, the majority of the other characters are based on historical persons from the Feudal Japan era. Kasuga is a Ninja that was once sent out to kill Uesugi Kenshin but befriends him instead and becomes his most loyal assassin. |
