K9999 from King of Fighters in the GA-HQ Video Game Character DB
K9999 is a playable character from the King Of Fighters fighting game series by SNK. K9999 appeared the first time in King Of Fighters 2001 and returned in the Dream Match The King of Fighters 2002 did not appear in any other games after that. He was heavily inspired by the character Tetsuo Shima from the Akira manga. K9999 debuted as one of Angel’s partners in the NESTS team and was replaced by the character “Nameless” in the remake of KOF 2K2. There were theories that he was copyrighted by Eolith and it seems unlikely that he will return in another game. |
