Kia from Mortal Kombat in the GA-HQ Video Game Character DB
Kia is a boss character in Shinnok’s Pyramid in Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub Zero (1996) and made a minor appearances in the Konquest mode of Mortal Kombat: Armageddon (2006). Kia serves Quan Chi and Shinnok as one of three assassines and battles the player together with the other two (Jataaka and Sareena) in both games. Kia uses a boomerang with razor-sharp blades as her weapon. It is possible that she is an Oni /Demon who could use a human form only thanks to Quan Chi’s magic. She became never a playable character and it is unlikely she might return in a new Mortal Kombat since Quan Chi was killed in Mortal Kombat X (2015). She was actually portrayed by Kerry Hoskins, who also acted as Sonya Blade in Mortal Kombat 3. |
