The Queen Metroid is the final evolution of the Metroids known so far. It debuted in Metroid II: Return of Samus (1991) as the final boss of the game. It returned in the same role in the remake, Metroid: Samus Returns in 2017. Metroid: Other M (2010) was the only other Metroid game it made an appearance, the Queen Metroid is one of the last bosses of the game. It is also a trophy in Super Smash Bros. on the Wii U (2014). |
