Shadow Link is a dark reflection of Link and not the same character as Dark Link while both are very similar since they are basically evil versions of Link and able to use the same moves as the Hyrulian hero. Shadow Link appears usually as a boss and debuted in The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures (2004). He returned in LoZ A Link Beween Worlds (2013) and LoZ Tri Force Heroes (2016) so far. |
