#223 Remoraid used Ice Beam and Fire Blast in the Game-Art-HQ Pokemon Gen II Tribute!
Remoraid used Ice Beam by BlazeTBW
BlazeTBW from the USA joined Game-Art-HQ somewhen in 2014 already and participated in multiple of our collaborations, starting with her amazing take on the Reznor boss(es) from Super Mario World as part of our Mario’s Blacklist.
She also drew the mighty bosses from Banjo Tooie for our Nintendo 64 Anniversary and joined the Pokemon Tribute with Slowbro and Machamp in 2016 and the Remoraid & Entei Duo in 2017.
You can see a ton of cool stuff at her dA gallery here!
Ice Beam
“An Ice-type attack. Has a one-in-ten chance of freezing the target solid”
Ice Beam is a powerful ice-type move first introduced in generation I. The user blasts an icy beam onto it’s foe, having a 10% chance of also freezing them solid. Ice Beam was TM13 in Generation before being dropped in Generation II and returning to its original TM13 from Generation III onwards.
Ice Beam is a powerful move used by Powerful Pokemon like Articuno and Tauros in Gen I, only Remoraid from Gen II is using it in our Tribute as well!
Remoraid used Fire Blast by Altarior
Altarior from Denmark is one of the around 15 artists that were invited for our first Pokémon Art Collaboration. I saw her impressive take on Hoh-Oh in February 2016 and had a feeling she would like this project. She drew not less than nine of the Generation I Pokemon which made her one of the most active artists for our first Pokemon Collaboration. In 2017 she returned to the fun and took Togetic, Gligar, Remoraid, Skarmony and Stantler.

You are going to find a ton of awesome artworks in her gallery here at deviantART!
Fire Blast
“The target is attacked with an intense blast of all-consuming fire. It may also leave the target with a burn”
The Fire Blast is one of the most powerful Fire-Type attacks in the Pokemon series and TM38 since the first Generation.
It had a 30% chance of burning the opponent in the first games, but this chance was decreased to only 10% since the Gen II games. Since Pokemon X & Y, its power was reduced a bit from 120 to 110.
#223 Remoraid
“To escape from an attacker, it may shoot water out of its mouth, then use that force to swim backward”
Remoraid is a pretty funny Water-type Pokemon since it does not evolve into another fish but into the rather Octopus like Octillery.
It is also affecting the evolution of a Mantyke if a Remoraid is in the same party and will evolve into a Mantine.
Remoraid starts with moves like the Water Gun and needs to level up a handful times to learn the Lock On. Its final move it can learn is Soak.
