#244 Entei used Eruption and Sacred Fire in the Game-Art-HQ Pokemon Gen II Tribute!

BlazeTBW from the USA joined Game-Art-HQ somewhen in 2014 already and participated in multiple of our collaborations, starting with her amazing take on the Reznor boss(es) from Super Mario World as part of our Mario’s Blacklist.
She also drew the mighty bosses from Banjo Tooie for our Nintendo 64 Anniversary and joined the Pokemon Tribute with Slowbro and Machamp in 2016 and the Remoraid & Entei Duo in 2017.

Eruption
“The higher the user’s HP, the more powerful this attack becomes.”
Eruption is a volcanic Fire-Type attack where the damage dealt depends on the user’s HP. The power of the attack formula works basically like this: Power = 150 X Current HP/Overall HP.
The power cannot be less than one; so subsequently it varies between its 1 and 150 power base. Needless to say; the lower the user’s HP, the less damage is dealt.
Currently Cyndaquil, Typhlosion and Entei are illustrated performing the devastating Eruption move!

Rachel from the USA drew Pokemon using their attacks long before we started our Tribute last year and I was happy that she joined the Gen II Project with Entei and also Spinarak later. Her contributions are pretty unique since they are drawn with watercolor unlike the most submissions that were created with digital tools.

Sacred Fire
“The target is razed with a mystical fire of great intensity. It may also leave the target with a burn”
Sacred Fire is a Fire Type Move that debuted in the Generation II Pokemon games and deals fire-damage with a strong Power stat of 100 and a 95% accuracy. Sacred Fire also has a 50% chance of burning the opponent.
So far, Entei and Ho-Oh were able to learn this strong move in our Pokemon Tribute.
#244 Entei
Entei embodies the passion of magma. It is thought to have been born in the eruption of a volcano. It blasts fire that consumes all that it touches
Entei is a Fire-type Pokemon and one of the three Johto legendary dogs beside Suicune and Raikou resurrected from the Tin Tower fire by Ho-oh. It is said that Entei represents the flames that burnt down the tower.
Alongside Quliava and Typhlosion, Entei is known as the Volcano Pokemon and all three can learn the move ‘Eruption’. Out of all Fire Pokemon, Entei has the highest base HP.
Entei played a major role in the third Pokemon movie ‘Spell of the Unown’ in which he played became the ‘father’ of a young girl called Molly Hale after her real father disappeared and would use his powers to grant her wishes. He was seen to be a very powerful Pokemon, taking down Ash’s Charizard as well as creating fake Pokemon that Molly was able to use to battle Ash and his friends.
