#349 Feebas used Splash and Mud Sport in our Pokemon Generation III Art Tribute
Feebas using Splash by legharcan
Legharcan is a young artist from the Philippines who joined both DeviantART and our community in early 2018. He did not have any video game related deviations when he joined but his takes on Feebas, Swalot, and Claydoll show that he has a heart for the lovely little creatures. We look forward to see him returning in our Generation IV Project!
Have a look at his gallery here!
Splash
“A move that involves only flopping and Splashing around in front of the opponent. It has no effect”
If the Professional Wrestler Matt Hardy would use his “Broken” Gimmick and talk about Pokemon and their moves he would call Splash just: OBSOLETE! I guess.
This move is there since Gen I and is classified as a Normal-Type Move and..it has no effect. Well, maybe he would call it wonderful or brilliant too.
Important Update! – You can Power-Up Splash to Z-Splash if you use Normalium Z on it since Generation III. This will rise the Attack stats by the user by three stages!
Feebas using Mud Sport by freqrexy
Bev Wooff / Freqrexy from the United Kingdom creates art for 13 years already and joined our Pokemon Tribute as one of the first artists in May already. In the end, she contributed not less than eight of the 151 Pokemon for it in 2016 and returned with four Pokemon in our Gen II Tribute and another stunning 16! of the 135 Gen III Pokemon, making her the direct “rival” of Yggdrassal, the only other artists in our community who ever contributed 16 Pokemon for one of the Generation tributes!
She is also one of the GA-HQ Patreon Supporters and helps me to create the galleries by writing the descriptions of many of the Pokemon and the illustrated moves and abilities 🙂
You can see a lot of drawn art but also crafted items and even cosplay in her gallery here!
Mud Sport
“The user covers itself with mud. It weakens Electric-type moves while the user is in the battle”
Mud Sport is one of the non-damaging but protective moves that were introduced in the Generation III Pokemon games. It’s a strong defense against Electric-Type Pokemon since it weakens the Electric based moves for five turns. This also works if you used Mud Sport and switch out your Pokemon since the Gen. VI Pokemon games.
Piloswine and Feebas are the only users of the Mud Sport move in our Art Collaboration so far 🙂
#349 Feebas
“Feebas’s fins are ragged and tattered from the start of its life. Because of its shoddy appearance, this Pokémon is largely ignored. It is capable of living in both the sea and in rivers”
