#356 Dusclops used Shadow Ball and Grudge in our Pokemon Generation III Art Tribute
Dusclops using Shadow Ball by Shinragod
Shinragod is one of the Moderators and Editors in our team but an active artist who participated in many Game-Art-HQ Art Collaborations since years. He joined all three Pokemon Generation tributes so far with the following Pokemon:
Please have a good look at Shinragod’s Portfolio on deviantART and consider to commission him when he is available!
Shadow Ball
“The user hurls a shadowy blob at the target. This may also lower the target’s Sp. Def stat”
The Shadow Ball attack was introduced in the Generation II Pokemon games and is a Ghost-Type move that deals not only damage but also has a 20% chance of lowering the opponents Special Defense stats by one stage.
If a Pokemon has the Bulletproof ability they will not be affected by a move such as Shadow Ball.
Five Pokemon are using the Shadow Ball in our Project currently, the first one was Kadabra from Generation I!
Dusclops using Grudge by Freqrexy
Bev Wooff / Freqrexy from the United Kingdom creates art for 13 years already and joined our Pokemon Tribute as one of the first artists in May already. In the end, she contributed not less than eight of the 151 Pokemon for it in 2016 and returned with four Pokemon in our Gen II Tribute and another stunning 16! of the 135 Gen III Pokemon, making her the direct “rival” of Yggdrassal, the only other artists in our community who ever contributed 16 Pokemon for one of the Generation tributes!
She is also one of the GA-HQ Patreon Supporters and helps me to create the galleries by writing the descriptions of many of the Pokemon and the illustrated moves and abilities 🙂
You can see a lot of drawn art but also crafted items and even cosplay in her gallery here!
Grudge
“If the user faints, the user’s grudge fully depletes the PP of the opponent’s move that knocked it out.”
Grudge is one of the Ghost-Type Moves that were introduced in the Generation III Pokemon games. The user will faint after using Grudge but the enemy will lose all of its remaining PP of its last move, which can be a great strategy. Dusclops is actually the first Pokemon in our Project that used it for its trainer.
Dusclops
“Dusclops absorbs anything, however large the object may be. This Pokémon hypnotizes its foe by waving its hands in a macabre manner and by bringing its single eye to bear. The hypnotized foe is made to do Dusclops’s bidding”
