This Moblin from Zelda: The Wind Waker was drawn by Fredik Mattsson, one of the artists who are featured on Game Art HQ since a good while! Fredik says the following about his entry: “I decided rather quick it was the Moblin from the wind waker I wanted to do for this project. They are to me one of the most memorable characters in the game. They might look rather goofy, but when they get close by they sure make sure to scare the wits out of you. For the pose I wanted to show the contradiction of being lazy/goofy looking with speed and some kind of elegant movement, and hopefully this comes through in the painting.”

Moblins are recurring enemies in the Legend of Zelda games, they made their debut in the first Zelda already, but looked more like bulldogs, in Zelda The Wind Waker they look more like pigs. They form Ganon`s main army in the game and are a part of the goblin family..and known as the least intelligent ones of those … |
