This is the first of four Artworks by Daniel Vendrell Oduber from Spain about old games from the eighties and nineties.
Burning Force from Namco was released only in Japan in the year 1989 for the arcades. It is a game similar to Space Harrier from Sega except there is no vertical mobility. It is always great for me when i can feature art which is both visually appealing already but also about a game or a game character which is super rarely drawn, which is the case here with Burning Force and the main protagonist Hiromi Tengenji.
It is not the main reason why I use all my free time for this site but i see it as a great opportunity to show a part of the game history illistrated with art 🙂
