After Scorpion had to battle the two “Oni” Drahmin and Moloch he was cast into a “Soulnado” and nearly torn apart. He escaped into the void and met the Elder Gods. These chosed him to fight the new threat in the form of the just revived Dragon King: Onaga. The elder gods made Scorpion their champion with the goal to defeat Onaga. – While Scorpion got a new design with a bigger focus on his armor and his weapons in MK Deadly Alliance, the developers changed him again a bit and gave Scorpion a burning Katana Sword this time as well as adding more details and elements to his costume than before. His alternative costume in MK Deception is just his Mortal Kombat 4 design.That costume was again used for MK Armageddon as well.
