Scorpion will raise Hell |

In his ending in Mortal Kombat 4, Scorpion is taking Quan Chi with him to the Netherrealm after he heard the truth about who the real murderer of his family and clan is. He hunted the powerful sorcerrer through the hell-like Netherrealm but Quan Chi formed an alliance with two Oni there (Demons) who would protect him and fight Scorpion. Quan Chi finally found a way to escape the Netherrealm through a portal and Scorpion followed him but emerged in Outworld on a different location than Quan Chi. Full of hate, Scorpion started searching him and would not stop before he would finally get his revenge. – The Scorpion design with the flaming skull debuted in Mortal Kombat 4 already as a only slightly changed costume, in Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance there were bigger changes made, especially to his armor and his gloves.
