Link`s Blacklist: Thunderbird from Zelda II:The Adventure of Link

The Thunderbird is the second last Boss in Zelda II: The Adventure of Link and awaits the Hero of Time in the Great Palace where it was placed as a test to him by the ancient King of Hyrule.
When Link enters the chamber of the Thunderbird Boss, he won’t see him before it is swooping down on him and starts to attack Link with fireballs while it is invulnerable for the first moments. Link needs to cast the Thunder spell which will cause Thunderbird to show his face which can be attacked by Link with his sword.
Imagine being in this dark chamber with only a torch and the Thunderbird is right in front of you. Thats how Corvus Rone from Uruguay wanted to illustrate the Thunderbird for Link’s Blacklist. |

To the left you see one of the artworks from the The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Nintendo Player’s Guide. The idea was to show Thunderbird attacking the Hero of Time from above, just like he does it in the Game too. |
