This is Sonya Blade in her classic design and her Kiss of Death fatality from Mortal Kombat I in the Pit stage, it was drawn by Jodie “Jodeee” Muir from the UK This artwork was drawn in August 2012 for our Mortal Kombat 20th Anniversary Tribute. Last summer we tried to organize a 2nd Mortal Kombat related art project due to Mortal Kombat celebrating its 20th birthday in August but in the end, we did not many illustrations and instead of delaying the project we could use some of the submissions for our big MK Art Project instead 🙂
The Kiss of Death Fatality back in Mortal Kombat I Jodie Muir is a big fan of the Mortal Kombat games and its characters, she submitted not only this damn awesome illustration of Sonya’s klassic Fatality but also entries for Noob Saibot, Kitana, Tanya, and Jade.
