Mortal Kombat Art Tribute: Shang Tsung from Mortal Kombat
Shang Tsung is fought in Goro’s Lair |
But has his own Throne Room too |
YOUR SOUL IS MINE!! Fighting Shang Tsung means fighting the souls of uncounted warriors killed by the powerful sorcerer who studied the black arts and works for Shao Kahn as the Mortal Kombat tournament holder for over 500 years. His only attacks in the game are the flaming skulls, but he can shoot up to three of them and they are strong attacks. Far more dangerous is his ability to morph into the fallen kombatants. Shang Tsung would return in 5 more Mortal Kombat games as a playable and fan-favourite character including his morphing abilities in some of the sequels. Funny enough, the boss of the first Mortal Kombat was also claimed as the last of the MKI characters for our big art tribute to the series.
The illustration of him based on his klassic design was drawn by rbl3d from Spain |
