Mortal Kombat Art Tribute: Shang Tsung from Mortal Kombat II
Shang Tsung, the final boss of the first Mortal Kombat returned as a playable character in the sequel and got a complete different visual design. He is now even stronger than before thanks to the dark magic of Shao Kahn who restored his youth. Like in the first game, Shang Tsung is actually able to shapeshift into all other playable characters of the game and being able to control their powers as well, but this time the player himself can control this morphing ability to confuse the opponent with different looks and tactics. Additionally he also got his flame skull projectiles which made Tsung one of the strongest characters in Mortal Kombat II.

After the first Tournament went out of his control, he assures Shao Kahn that he can shape everything to a different direction with a new tournament which would take place in Outworld itself. The winner would decide about the future of both the Outworld and Earthrealm. Shang Tsung’s ending is one of the funniest ones, and ends similar to the one of Raiden in Mortal Kombat, have fun reading it below in the screenshots!

Shang Tsung in his classic Mortal Kombat II design was modelled and drawn by AEmilliusResurrection from Argentina. Beside Shang Tsung he also submitted 3D Modell Artworks for Khameleon, Raiden, Baraka and Onaga the Dragon King as well! |
