Mileena was reborn in the Netherrealm and serves the fallen Elder God Shinnok now but tries to escape the Netherrealm and also avenge her death. She will confront Kitana and try to take her place as Edenians ruler. ~ Mileena returns in Mortal Kombat Gold as one of the few characters with a slight visual redesign since Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, for the first time she does not look exactly like Kitana anymore. Her moveset however is the same as before with the Teleport Kick etc. She brings a Long Sword to battle instead of her Sai Forks sadly. ~ While Mileena gets killed in Kitana’s ending, this time she is successful in killing the true Princess of Edenia and takes her realm.
