Mortal Kombat Art Tribute: Quan Chi from Mortal Kombat 4/Gold
Quan Chi, a powerful sorcerer who can summon the dead to aid him, frees the fallen Elder God Shinnok and fights on his side. Shinnok has granted him a position as Arch Sorcerer but the true plans of Quan Chi remain unclear to him. ~ Quan Chi debuted in Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub Zero as the main antagonist but was playable for the first time in Mortal Kombat 4 and has become the most popular character now from that game with him returning as antagonist in MKDA and playing a role in Mortal Kombat 9 as well…but more about that later. His moveset is a mixed bag in MK4, while his Teleport Stomp and the Green Skull Projectile are quite cool, his Dash Kick looked super lame. He can steal the weapon of his opponents though and got one of the funniest Fatalities in Mortal Kombat history! ~ In his Mortal Kombat 4 ending, Quan Chi gets..his existence granted by Shinnok which does not amuse him much. Having always a alternate plan he never gave away the real Kamidogu to Shinnok and uses it to defend himself. Even the elder god is no match for him!
