Mortal Kombat Art Tribute: Reiko from Mortal Kombat 4/Gold

Reiko is one of the new kombatants in Mortal Kombat 4 and fights on the side of Shinnok against the forces of the Elder Gods and Earthrealm. ~ Reiko has one of the coolest weapons in MK4, the Spiked Club but can also throw shurikens, has two different teleports and a Flip Kick attack. All in all a pretty nice moveset for the new character. ~ In his ending, Reiko is seen going through a portal to a throne where Shao Kahn’s helmet appears above him and seems to give him some sort of power when he stands up. For years, Mortal Kombat fans wondered if Reiko becomes a new Shao Kahn and what this scene was about. While Reiko was described as Shinnok’s General in MK4, he is a general of Shao Kahn in Mortal Kombat Armageddon.
