The fallen elder god Shinnok was once banished by the Thundergod Raiden to the Netherrealm where he rised an army known as the Brotherhood of Shadow. With the help of the sorcerer Quan Chi he managed to escape the Netherrealm short after Shao Kahn was defeated and started a war against the elder gods and the forces of Earthrealm. ~ Shinnok has no own special moves in Mortal Kombat 4 but can use the movesets of all other characters, without changing his look. Means he can be a very strong character for players who know how to transform into the others and know their moves as well. ~ In his ending, Shinnok is successful and kills Raiden.
