Mortal Kombat Art Tribute: Johnny Cage from Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance
After a real clusterfuck of a story for Johnny Cage during Mortal Kombat 3-4 he returned with a new look, new tricks and a better story. Johnny Cage got also a pretty cool ending in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance! ~ Johnny Cage had been fed up with the lame writing on his current movie “Mortal Kombat: The Death of Johnny Cage”, in which his character repeatedly died and was resurrected. To him, his real-life adventures were much more sensational…he kicked butt! But his studio felt that the hero needed to take a fall for dramatic purposes. Johnny Cage reluctantly agreed to continue with the project until the Thudner God Raiden called him away to a new adventure in Outworld. ~ Johnny Cage uses the Karate and Jeet Kune Do fighting styles which included some typical Bruce Lee moves, he also uses a Nunchaku as weapon now. He has only two real special moves though, his classic Shadow Kick and the Forceball Projectile. ~
