Baraka returned in Mortal Kombat Deception after he was believed to be dead for many fans since he was absent in MK Deadly Alliance and killed by Quan Chi in his Mortal Kombat Gold Ending. But Baraka was back and returned with a new design without any of the scars and wounds seen in Mortal Kombat Gold. He is now siding with Onaga the Dragon King and believes his new master is invincible. “I am of the Tarkata, a savage race of nomadic warriors bred from denizens of Outworld and demons of the Netherrealm. My kind have served many masters: Shao Kahn, Shang Tsung, Quan Chi… All have fallen. All have been weak. But our new master is strong! Invincible! We will slay all who oppose him! We will follow him to bloody victory! “ ~ Baraka uses the Silat and Hung Gar fighting styles, his weapon are the blades attached to his arms and have some very effective combos. His flying shard projectile returned just like his “Chop Chop Blades” Special Move. New is his Mutant Blades move he can use to push his opponents into one of the death traps in Mortal Kombat Deception’s Stages.
