A Blast from the 16bit Past: Metal Slug!
After the Chrono Trigger “Blast From The Past” yesterday, today another one from the golden age of SNK’s NeoGeo era and their Metal Slug jump’n shoot series.
The damn awesome Spanish artist Francisco Rico Torres draws video game characters often when he has the time for them and is a big fan of the Metal Slug and King of Fighters games, he drew these four character portraits of Marco Rossi, Eri Kasamoto, Tarma Roving and Fio Germi by using traditional tools like acrylic colors.
The result is simply stunning great, even now after around 6 years since he made them back in 2007.
This reminds me that we are still waiting for a new part of Metal Slug! Come’on SNK!
