Albert Wesker from Resident Evil in the GA-HQ Video Game Character DB
Albert Wesker was one of the main antagonists in the Resident Evil games, in RE 5 he finally dies. Back in 1996 in the first Resident Evil, Albert was introduced as one of the S.T.A.R.S members, and a partner of Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine. Through the game it becomes obvious that Albert is not what he seemed to be though. In almost all of the later RE games his past and his motives are explained and in the end he becomes a relative deep character. I am looking forward to see more of this character in future games about his past maybe (and still hope that the whole RE series gets a big reboot because the series started to really suck after RE4) Wesker is playable for the first time in Resident Evil: Code Veronica. The main antagonist of the game is equipped with his knife only in the unlockable Battle Mode and his mission is quite a challenge. He is a playable character in the Mercenaries mode’s of RE 4 and 5 as well. Albert Wesker made it into Marvel vs. Capcom 3 as a playable character, his visual design did not change a lot with the exception of his mutated form in the Resident Evil 5 finale. There are a ton of wallpapers and avatars made by fans about Albert Wesker while there are relative few fan arts for him. He was also portrayed in the Resident Evil: Afterlife and Retribution movies by Shawn Roberts. |
