Alex was introduced into the Street Fighter series back in 1997 with Street Fighter III – The New Generation and is an American fighter who uses both Professional Wrestling and Kickboxing for his fighting style. He was supposed to be a new main protagonist in the Street Fighter series but somehow he did not make it into the most of the later SF games after SFIII Third Strike. The only later playable appearances by Alex were in Capcom Fighting Jam and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom while fans hoped he would make it into SFIV or SF X Tekken. There were even fake images showing him in Ultra Street Fighter IV which caused many discussions about Alex in fighting game communities in 2013..but in the end it was sadly not him being there. Alex returned to the Street Fighter series as the first DLC character in Street Fighter V (2016) Alex was also one of the characters supposed to be in the cancelled Capcom Ultimate All-Stars game. |
