Pikachu is most likely the still most popular Pokemon of them all, due to its prominent role in the cartoon series for a long time and being on many of the game-covers. This Electric-Type Pokemon which looks a lot like a yellow hamster debuted back in the first generation of Pokemon games (1996) and also made it into all of the Super Smash Bros. games as a playable character. Today, Pikachu is a part of over 40 games already and continues to be one of the most popular video game characters in general. There are countless different merchandise toys and items of Pikachu.
