The first nextgen console at the time, the XBOX360 was revealed in 2005 and Sony announced they broke a record with their Playstation 2 which was sold over 100 Million times now. We saw a ton of new games, especially for that console in 2005 but the year started with a big bang in the form of Resident Evil 4 on the Nintendo Gamecube in January. Beside the enemies there were not a lot new characters in the game though. Tekken 5 and SoulCalibur III arrived with new characters like Asuka Kazama and Raven in Tekken and Zasalamel and Setsuka in SoulCalibur. Sony ‘s Santa Monica Studio released God of War in March and i guess every one of you knows its main protagonist, Kratos. Another interesting new video game character was Wander from Shadow of the Colossus as well as the villains Arkham and Vergil in Devil May Cry 3.
