The Arch-vile Enemy from Doom in the GA-HQ Video Game Character DB
The Arch-vile is an enemy class from the Doom first person shooter series and debuted in the 11th Map of Doom II back in 1994. The Arch-vile returned with a very different visual design in Doom 3 (2004) They can resurrect low-level monsters like Zombies in Doom II and can even summon other monsters in Doom 3 which makes them top priority monsters, and some of the more difficult ones to defeat. In Doom Eternal (2020) the Arch-vile is back again. The Arch-Vile was one of the Doom monsters which were drawn for our art tribute to Doom in December 2013 when the original Doom celebrated its 20th Anniversary. |
