Axel from Kingdom Hearts in the GA-HQ Video Game Character DB
Axel, the Flurry of Dancing Flames is a character from the Kingdom Hearts series and debuted in KH: Chains of Memories (2004) where he was introduced as the Rank VIII Member of the original Organization XIII. In Kingdom Hearts II (2005) he betrays the Organization. In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (2009) he returns and is a playable character for the first time, in both the Mission Mode as well as being one of the main protagonists. He died in Kingdom Hearts II, but some of the later KH spinoffs play before that game, and as we know, video game characters often return from death somehow. He is mentioned and in the case of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance (2012) seen again as being the Nobody of Lea. Axel uses two Chakrams as weapons which he can enhance with his pyrokinese powers.
