Greninja from Pokémon in the GA-HQ Video Game Character DB
Greninja is a Pokemon which was introduced with Pokemon X and Y in 2013 for the Nintendo 3DS. In March 2014 it was revealed to be a playable character in Super Smash Bros. 4 for the 3DS and WiiU Platforms. Greninja is a dual-type Water/Dark Pokémon and evolves from Frogadier starting at level 36. It is the final form of the starter Pokemon Froakie. Like the name implies, it is as fast as a Ninja, it can even attack its enemies with throwing stars made of compressed water which are somehow sharp enough to split even metal. Pokédex entries:Pokemon X: It creates throwing stars out of compressed water. When it spins them and throws them at high-speed, these stars can split metal in two. Pokemon Y: It appears and vanishes with a ninja’s grace. It toys with its enemies using swift movements, while slicing them with throwing stars of sharpest water. |
