Lightning (Claire Farron) is the main protagonist of Final Fantasy XIII (2009) and Final Fantasy XIII-3: Lightning Returns (2013. She is also a playable character in Final Fantasy Dissidia Duocedim (2011) & Dissidia: Final Fantasy NT (2015) and part of the story in Final Fantasy XIII-2 (2011). She made also an appearance as part of an event in Final Fantasy XIV. Lightning fights for her sister and friends, guard gods, and saves souls before the end of the world, she also wears tons of different costumes which lead to a costume contest by Square-Enix in 2014 when Lightning Returns was released in the USA.
