Mario’s Blacklist
Welcome to Mario`s Blacklist, an art tribute to all enemies of the Super Mario Universe Fifty artists from the Game-Art-HQ Community could claim their favourite antagonists and enemies from all the Mario games, starting with Donkey Kong who made his debut together with “Jumpman” Mario back in 1981 up to the latest form of Bowser in Super Mario World 3D, the currently last Super Mario game. The most of the characters were drawn with digital tools on the PC but a few were also illustrated through 3D Software and some were made with more traditional tools like water colors and pencils. All 50 characters have own galleries here including descriptions of them and their roles in the games, sometimes written by the artists themselves. Have fun wandering through our Art Tribute, enjoy the art and play your favourite Mario games again! |

Mario’s Blacklist was organized with having the target in mind to let 50 members of the Game-Art-HQ Community claiming a spot in this tribute.
These spots were taken after a few days and the interest by more artists was big but our resources to create these galleries here are limited.
This art collaboration will continue in summer 2015, again with 50 spots to get many more of the Super Mario enemies and bosses covered, from Bowser himself in his classic designs to
almost all the Koopalings and many many other characters there is enough to do to keep Mario’s Blacklist a thing for the next couple of years!
Visit Game-Art-HQ again or follow or Tumblr Blog to always know whats new here 🙂
