Kabal is one of the fictional characters of the Mortal Kombat fighting game series and debuted in Mortal Kombat 3 developed by Midway Games Chicago in 1995. He returned for the first time in Mortal Kombat Deception in 2004 and again in Mortal Kombat 9 (2011) which was developed by Netherrealm Studios. Kabal was revealed on the 5th of February 2019 to return as well in Mortal Kombat XI (2019). Kabal also appeared in Mortal Kombat Trilogy, Mortal Kombat Unchained, and Mortal Kombat Armageddon, these games are ports or included just all playable Mortal Kombat game characters. ~ Kabal was once a normal human and worked together with Stryker against the Outworld Invasion led by Shao Kahn. An attack destroyed his face and left scars and burns on his whole body, without a special mask he can’t breathe normally anymore. Kabal uses Hookswords as a Weapon and has special moves like a Tornado Dash which makes his opponent dizzy for a few seconds and allows him to attack. ~ Personally, I liked Kabal from the start. Not only was he very different from the rest of the characters in Mortal Kombat 3, he also had these damn cool weapons, very effective combos, and special moves, and also one of the funniest friendship finishers ever …his “Kabal Unmasked” Fatality was also hilarious. Designwise he went even better with every return. In Mortal Kombat 9 he was just a damn badass and I liked how NRS included him into the story part of the game. |
