Baiken is one of the playable characters from the Guilty Gear fighting game series by Arc System Works. She debuted as an unlockable character in the first Guilty Gear in 1998 on the Playstation and returned in all sequels and updates like Guilty Gear X- Guilty Gear XX Accent Core +R and in the spinoff Guilty Gear Isuka (2003). Baiken was revealed alongside the new character Answer to be in the Guilty Gear Xrd – Revelator (2015) update Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 in Spring 2017. She joined Guilty Gear Strive in January 2022 again as a DLC Character. Baiken also became the first Guilty Gear guest character in a fighting game, in this case Samurai Shodown (2019) where Baiken was one of the last DLC characters and joined the game in 2021. Baiken is one of the few Japanese characters in the Guilty Gear Universe. Her parents were once killed by the Gears and That Man and she swore revenge. Baiken fights mainly with a Katana sword but is also using multiple other weapons in battles. |
