The Baron of Hell from Doom in the GA-HQ Video Game Character DB
The Baron of Hell is a strong enemy type from the Doom series. It debuted as a boss-like pair, nicknamed the “Bruiser Bros” in Doom (1993) and returned in the sequels and updates like Final Doom / Doom 2 and Doom 64 while they were absent in Doom 3. The Baron of Hell returned once again in Doom (2016) and was only slightly changed and renamed to the Fireborne Baron in Doom Eternal (2020). These foes are some of the strongest enemies in the games and can attack with their claws as well as throwing comet-like fireballs at the player. |
