Beezo from Super Mario Bros in the GA-HQ Video Game Character DB
Beezo is one of the minor enemies from Super Mario Bros. 2 (1988) ..and the original Japanese version known as “Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic” (1987) before. It is a Shy Guy Sub-Species which tries to hit Mario or the other characters with a Trident. Beezo returned only in Super Mario RPG (1996) so far where they were renamed to Shy Away. While their official SMB2 illustration showed them in yellow, there were no yellow enemies in the game. They appeared years later in the remake of SMB2 for the Game Boy Advance though. They were also featured in the Super Mario Bros. Super Show.
