The Bubble from the Legend of Zelda in the GA-HQ Video Game Character DB
The Bubble is a recurring enemy in the Legend of Zelda game series by Nintendo. This enemy debuted in the original Legend of Zelda (1986) and returned in every following Zelda game with the exception of LoZ Skyward Sword so far. They are flying spirits which have mostly the form of a skull surrounded by flames. In some of the games they have wings like in Ocarina of Time. Like many other Zelda enemies too, their designs changed a bit in every game and they come in different colors like Blue and Red, in a few games there are also elemental related Bubbles. In the most of the Zelda games, Link can not attack anything for a limited time if he was touched (cursed) by a Bubble. Sometimes they are also stealing magic from him. Usually they can not be defeated with simple sword strikes. The Bubble also appears as an enemy in Super Smash Bros 4 on the 3DS |
