Shinnok from Mortal Kombat in the GA-HQ Video Game Character DB

Shinnok is a playable character from the Mortal Kombat games by Midway Games Chicago and Netherrealm Studios (Since MK9). He appeared the first time in Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub Zero (1997) in which Shinnok was the main antagonist and a boss. Shinnok was the first time playable in Mortal Kombat 4 in 1997 and returned in Mortal Kombat Deadly Armageddon (2006) where he is probably leading the forces of evil. He was only shown in a few cameo’s and at the end of Mortal Kombat 9 (2011) while Shinnok is again the main antagonist in Mortal Kombat X (2015). Like in MK MSZ he transforms into a demonic form, which is called Corrupted Shinnok after he absorbs Earthrealms Jinsei. Shinnok was again beaten in MKX and plays only a small ..rather passive part of the story in Mortal Kombat XI (2019). |
