Vaati is the main antagonist in the Legend of Zelda “Four Swords” sub-series that spans the three games Four Swords (2002), Four Swords Adventures (2004) and Minish Cap (2004). He has 5 different forms ranging from his human-like look to very tall demonic forms, Link has to fight him in 3 different forms per game usually. Vaati was once a Minish /Picori race citizen but became obsessed with evil which transformed him slowly into a demon. |

Vaati from the Legend of Zelda drawn for the Game-Art-HQ Video Game Character Database
Vaati is one of the not so popular Legend of Zelda antagonists since he never appeared in any of the LoZ games on consoles and we may see him never again in a game even.
Icy-Snowflakes who is a part of our community since years and also participated in our big Link’s Blacklist project did an excellent illustration for this guy (who may be a different form of Girahim / Demise’s Sword btw.) while she did not play any of the games with Vaati yet, but plans to do so when the time is there. I recommend to visit her gallery on dA where you can see a lot of other Legend of Zelda related art but also a lot of other cool stuff!
