Jackson “Jax” Briggs is one of the playable characters and protagonists in the Mortal Kombat fighting game series. He debuted in Mortal Kombat II (1993) and returned in almost all sequels. In Mortal Kombat 3 (1995) he got his metal arms that became a trademark design for Jax and influenced his movesets. His last game so far was Mortal Kombat XI (2019) where Jax is helping both Kronica and his friends from the Special Forces He is the father of Jaqui Briggs, one of the new characters in MKX. During the majority of the Mortal Kombat games he also was Sonya Blade‘s partner. |
