Cranky Kong is a minor protagonist that debuted in Donkey Kong Country (1994) on the Super Nintendo as a non playable character that helps Donkey Kong with tips but also makes a lot of jokes about him, he comes over like a grumpy old geezer there often. He returned in all other Donkey Kong Country games and becomes a completely playable main character for the first time in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (2014). Before he was playable a few times during bonus games in the GBA port of DKC3 and also an unlockable character in Donkey Kong: Barrel Blast (2007) |
