Deadpool is a character from the Marvel Comics Universe that started as a villain in The New Mutants (February 1991) and became a very liked Anti-Hero with the time that is popular for breaking the 4th Wall which means the characters knows that he is in a comic, movie or video game and sometimes talks directly to the reader or players. It took over a decade until Deadpool debuted in a video game, in X-Men Legends II (2005) he is first appearing as a boss but is unlocked as a playable character after the battle. Deadpool returned in the following Marvel Ultimate Alliance games and over 10 other Marvel related games so far. He is playable in the crossover fighting game Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (2011) and got his own Pinball table in Marvel Pinball (2010). Deadpool got his first own game in 2013. |
