Dee Jay from Street Fighter in the GA-HQ Video Game Character DB
Dee Jay is a playable character from the Street Fighter series and was introduced as one of the four new characters in Super Street Fighter II (1993). He returned in the console ports Street Fighter Alpha 3 (1998) and Super Street Fighter IV (2010) as well as in the remakes of SF II. in Street Fighter 6 (2023), Dee Jay is again playable and sports a new design with him being a bit older now. Dee Jay is using Kickboxing as his fighting style and was developed by Capcom USA as the only SF character at that time. He was probably inspired by the Tae Bo creator and Kickboxer Billy Blanks. He is almost always smiling. |
