“I put more work into this than i’ve been used to in the last while. even so, it didn’t turn out quite as well as i thought it would but i still feel all right about it. I chose Gohdan because I like the colour cyan and tron lines so this was right up my alley. I ran into a few discouraging crashes along the way but here it is.”

Dr-Pod was not so super confident that his take on Gohdan is great but it seems like everyone else, including myself is totally OK with his illustration and thinks its good 🙂

His Gohdan is actually the first submission he did for a Game-Art-HQ Art collaboration and its also our first illustration of Gohdan in the Link’s Blacklist!

Gohdan is the boss in the Tower of the Gods dungeon of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and also the last test for Link to proof that he is the Hero and worth to use the legendary Master Sword.

Link has to use the Bow to shoot Arrows at the eyes in the hands of Gohdan (as seen in our first illustration of this boss battle) until Gohdan’s head will fall to the ground and Link can throw a Bomb into its open Mouth to damage him. After three well places bomb blasts, Gohdan will admit Link is the winner and worth to take the Master Sword.
