” Those skulls took me FOREVEEEERRR, but it’s finally done!  

My take on Staldra from Skyward Sword for Link’s Blacklist hosted by – you guessed it – !
I’m so used to drawing cute, colorful drawings, and I did plan on going that route with this piece at first, but then I suddenly got the urge to change things up and draw something a little more… spooky?

I’ve been meaning to draw something in that style for a while now, and I figured this was the perfect time as well as the perfect monster for the job!
I’d love to do something like this again!”

In all seriousness, its awesome that Isabelle continues to be a part of this project and hope that she will be on board the next time as well, her take on Staldra is simply amazing. When I saw it first I thought it would be for a Boss character and not a common enemy.

 The Staldra is a common enemy that debuted in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. They are three-headed serpents and can re-grow their heads if one of them is cut off, similar to the Hydra from the Greek mythology.

Its only possible to defeat them by destroying all their heads at the same time, its possible to defeat them with a Bomb relative easily if all of the Staldra heads are in the range of the Explosion.
